Miharo! Wow, you have created a really cool and colour collage for the “Happy New Year '' activity, it is an eye-catching piece of work you have done. Have you known these precious to this activity or have you learnt these languages through this activity?
Keep up the work e hoa! I look forward to your reply.
Ngā mihi,
Kiana-Marino
Hi Kiana
DeleteThank you for your comments. I speak Bahasa Malaysia. I also wish my Grandma in Cantonese during Chinese New Year. The rest is new to me.
Nga mihi Mark
Kia Ora Mark, great to hear back from you.
DeleteWow, that's so cool you speak Bahasa Malaysia! Do you find it challenging to have the ability to speak two languages? Do you also speak chinese?
My first language is Māori and my second is english. Sometimes i find it challenging to communicate in both languages so i often combine both of them in the same sentence to get my message across.
Ngā mihi,
Kiana-Marino
Kia Ora Kiana
DeleteThank you for your comments. Yes I find it challenging. Sometimes we use BM words instead of English when speaking. I speak very little Chinese.
