 Hello Everyone,

Today I did my first Summer Learning activity - Something that flies. My Slide

First I watched Nanogirl's video and made some things that can fly. I made an aeroplane, hoop glider and just a hoop. I also made a jet plane. Here is my video.  Link

Then I measured what flies the furthest. The aeroplane can fly the furthest because of the shape. I didn't think a hoop glider can even fly. Did you?

House of Bricks Reflection

Hello everyone,

My favourite Lego activity was the car race because my partner and I worked very hard to make the car. We came out 2nd place.

My least favourite Lego activity was the tower because it was too hard to do. I kept on trying and I never gave up.

The activity that tested my perseverance the most was in Kaupeka because we had to swap our buildings with others and I had to build something else after that.

The most challenging activity was the car racing because we had to build the car that could go the furthest but it was also the most fun. 

I enjoyed working collaboratively with others because it was fun working with a buddy to achieve something.

Minecraft Plane Craft - SLJ Activity #21

 Hello Everyone

Today I did Minecraft and I tried to make my own Plane Craft. Here is a picture of it. The head looks like the dragon's head. And the long body is the tail. The two long parts are the wings.  The Plane Craft can travel from Earth to space carrying people, livestocks, food and materials to planet Kepler. Scientists think that people can live there. The problem is that it will take 30 million years to get there. Maybe we just go to the Moon first.

Paper plane SLJ Activity #18

Hello everyone

Hi Mark here, today for Spring Learning Journey activity, I made  paper planes. I measured how far  Plane# 1, Plane #2, Plane #3 and Plane #4 can fly.

These are my paper planes.

First Round.

Flying the planes on the field. Plane # 1 flew the furthest.

Second Round.

Then we flew the planes on the basketball court. Plane #1 flew the furthest. 

Plane #1 = 417cm. First place. 

Plane #2 = 261 cm. Fourth place.

Plane #3 = 356 cm. Third place.

Plane #4 = 365 cm. Second place.

Design for Plane #1 is the best because it came out first for both rounds. What is your best design?
