Let's go fly a kite SLJ 2021 --- 2022 Activity #20.

 Hello everyone,

Today I made a kite from branches and garbage bag. I fixed a tail and decorated the kite with marker pens. Then my brother John and I brought the kite to the park and tried to make it fly. My kite can fly! I was so happy when that happened.

Cutting the garbage bag to make a diamond.

Cutting the tail for my kite.

Let's try to fly it.

Chris here again, from the Summer Learning Journey. This is awesome, so glad to hear you enjoyed making and flying your kite!

That’s awesome that you were able to bring your brother in to help you out, collaboration is so important. Love to hear about your response to it flying; when you make something, and it works that really is the best feeling. Did you keep the kite afterwards? You could probably fly it a few more times before school starts!

Looking forward to seeing what else you post in the last couple days of the Summer Learning Journey!

    Ngā mihi!
    Chris
