Kia Ora,
I couldn't find any cicada skin so I drew one instead.
I learned to draw a cicada following a youtube video from Art For Kids Hub.

Hey Mark!
ReplyDeleteI love your picture! Especially the colours you've chosen. Do you like to do art much? You've got a knack for it!
You've also documented the process really clearly, which is awesome. It will inspire others, I'm sure. Keep being creative and posting your work.
Is there anything else you think you would like to draw and paint?
I look forward to seeing your future creations.
Ruby
Hi Ruby,
ReplyDeleteThank you for your comments. I like dinosaurs too.
Kia ora anō Mark,
ReplyDeleteWell done completing the cicada art activity! Great work being resourceful when you could not find cicada skins, I haven’t seen any around my house either! I wonder where they are all hiding?
You did an awesome job following the video and creating an awesome cicada picture. Did you enjoy drawing and painting your fantastic picture?
I think cicadas are fascinating, but I agree I wouldn’t want to eat one. I imagine they would be crunchy, but I could be wrong!
I’m marking this as an outstanding blog post, for your awesome creative cicada art!
Ngā mihi,
Lauren
