Insect art

 Hello everyone,

Today  I am going to tell you the story of a dragonfly named Dee-Dee. He flew for miles and  miles looking for food. Dee-Dee likes to eat insects. When he felt tired from flying, he rested at a beautiful garden.

Dee-Dee has 6 Legs, 4 Wings, a Head, a Thorax and an Abdomen. He also has 2 Antennae.

This is Dee-Dee at the beautiful garden.

Miharo, to kerewa hoki! Amazing, you’re clever! Thank you for sharing your insect with us on your blog, you have done an awesome job at gathering different materials and colours from your backyard to create this.

I really like the details on the body where you have added multiple leafs to create this 3D look on the dragonfly. I enjoyed reading the background story to your dragon fly as well because it made me understand the setting of your dragon fly.

Did you enjoy this activity? Did you also come across any challenges?

I look forward to your response and future posts you post about on your blog.

    Ngā mihi nui,
    Kiana-Marino

  2. Hello Kiana,
Thank you for your kinds words and comments. I am glad you liked the dragonfly. I enjoyed making the insect art and writing the story. Even though I loved making the insect art but everything kept moving around when I was trying to put the insect together. The result was worth it.
